A joint advisory from CISA, the FBI and German and UK partners says the SafePay ransomware group has hit at least 600 organizations worldwide since August 2024, many of them critical infrastructure. It gets in through exposed credentials, brute-forced passwords, VPN abuse and unpatched edge devices. The fixes: MFA everywhere, patch known exploited flaws, tested offline backups, and network segmentation.
